Obstructive Lung Disease (Asthma, COPD, Emphysemia)

Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) are the most common lung diseases in the United States. These are called Obstructive Lung Diseases and cause symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, low oxygen levels, and can sometimes lead to hospitalizations. These conditions can severely impact the quality of life of the patients who have them. At our Obstructive Lung Diseases clinic at Texas IPS we strive to provide state-of-the-art care for our patients with these conditions. From diagnosis to management, we provide the most advanced therapies available for the comprehensive care of our patients. Our goal is to improve quality of life and preserve lung function so our patients can breathe easier and feel strong.

I think Dr. Amalakuhan is a wonderful doctor. He listened to my concerns and he acted on these worries quickly, I’ve had two other doctors and I was never happy. Thank you, Dr. Amalakuhan for checking on my wellness.
